- ➤ Mansfield Youth Theatre seeks young actors for Shrek The Musical Jr. auditions set for 2:30-5 p.m. on Jan. 25 and 5:30-8 p.m. on Jan. 26 at Theatre 166 on Park Avenue West in downtown Mansfield. Auditioners aged 9 to 18 should prepare a song excerpt with sheet music. Mansfield News Journal

- ➤ Ohio State Mansfield will host Buckeye Preview Days on Jan. 23, Feb. 16, March 28 & April 24 in Riedl Hall, offering interactive sessions with admissions and academic staff, campus tours, and information on free tuition opportunities for future students. WMAN
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Ohio Public Utilities Commission ended its House Bill 6 investigations by approving a settlement with FirstEnergy that returns nearly $276 million to customers over three billing periods (including $20 million for low-income programs). The review will set refund details for all customers statewide. Mansfield News Journal

- ➤ Mansfield Senior Tygers beat Dover 62 to 55 on Friday, Jan. 9 at Pete Henry Gym as 17 steals and 14 points from Davion Mack powered a strong defensive win; the victory was the team’s fourth in a row and narrowed the OCC gap. Mansfield News Journal
