  • Brynn is a six-month-old domestic shorthair who had her eyes removed a few weeks ago and has been at the Humane Society of Richland County for three months. She is ready for adoption in a small or single-story home (3025 Park Avenue West) where she can feel safe.  Mansfield News Journal

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Seven Richland County school districts received more than $126,420 in state grants today through the Ohio School Bus Safety Grant Program (part of a $10 million state budget allocation to improve bus safety equipment).  Mansfield News Journal

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Four community leaders joined the Richland County Board of Developmental Disabilities today after appointment by the county probate judge and commissioners; appointees include a retired educator, local attorney, hospital rehab specialist, and bank officer (Richland Newhope) set to serve up to three four-year terms.  Mansfield News Journal

SPORTS NEWS

  • The 47th Mansfield News Journal All-Star Classic charity basketball game is set for March 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Lexington High School to raise funds for Catalyst Life Services’ mental health programs (tickets cost $5).  Mansfield News Journal
