- ➤ The Mansfield Playhouse launched a $7.5 million capital campaign on March 12 to build a fully accessible theater in downtown Mansfield. The new facility will replace the old building at 95 East Third Street—providing two theaters, improved amenities, and a modern space to celebrate its 100th anniversary while revitalizing the downtown area. - ➤ Four local students received $500 scholarships on Tuesday at the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship Award Program — they were chosen for their grades, test scores, service and essays about a teacher who made a difference. - ➤ The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will stock 85,000 rainbow trout at 90 sites starting mid-March, with Malabar Farm State Park Inn Pond in Richland County set to receive its trout on April 25.
