The Richland Area Chamber and Economic Development will host its 18th Annual Business Expo on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richland County Fairgrounds—this pet-themed event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. and feature over 100 local businesses and nonprofits with live demonstrations and special attractions.

The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District awarded $1,305,707 in new grants to support 11 projects for flood control and water quality as part of its 15-year-old Partners in Watershed Management program—West Creek Conservancy in Richland County received $35,500 to restore a 62-acre wetland along the Clear Fork Mohican River to help control flooding and protect local water quality.
