Good morning, Mansfield.

Richland County law enforcement launched the Blue Envelope Program during National Autism Month to help autistic drivers during traffic stops—drivers keep a blue envelope with their driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance to alert officers to use clear, calm communication. The program is a joint effort by Mansfield, Ontario, Shelby, Lexington, Bellville, and Butler police departments along with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office and is now available at law enforcement agencies and driver’s education sites.
