- ➤ An injured barred owl was released on Tuesday, Apr. 7 after nearly a month of treatment at the Ohio Bird Sanctuary (which aided its recovery) and now soars free. Mansfield News Journal

- ➤ Trooper Jason Beck from the Mansfield post of Ohio Highway Patrol released an owl he rescued on March 9 while patrolling U.S. 30, marking his hands-on approach to wildlife care. Mansfield News Journal
- ➤ Mansfield Parks & Recreation invites residents to shape a future public pool by taking an online survey as part of a feasibility study. The survey, done with Counsilman-Hunsaker & Associates, will guide pool design and amenities. WMAN
