- ➤ ODOT District 3 shared a weekly update on road projects in Ashland, Crawford and Richland Counties that include lane closures, culvert replacements and road repairs on key routes such as U.S. 30, SR 95, SR 96 and SR 13. Crews will use flaggers to manage traffic — work on these projects is scheduled from this week until later in 2025 and is subject to weather conditions. 1812Blockhouse
- ➤ On October 2, 2024, the Richland County Engineers Office lost employee Trenton Gallaway in a work zone crash, and state and local officials partnered to honor him during National Work Zone Awareness Week—emphasizing that drivers must follow Ohio’s Move Over Law. Officials said enforcement efforts will resume in 2025 to keep a strong presence in high-priority interstate work zones and help prevent future tragedies. 1812Blockhouse
