- ➤ On May 5, Springfield Township police discovered Chewy the raccoon holding a meth pipe in the driver's seat during a traffic stop on South Arlington Road and arranged for its care while contacting the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to ensure proper re-homing as the raccoon's owner faced addiction and housing challenges — officials confirmed Chewy was not exposed to drugs.
