GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Mansfield Police Department promoted Sgt. Joseph P. Gladden to lieutenant and Officer Matthew S. Davis to sergeant in City Council Chambers on May 11. Gladden will now serve as the night shift watch commander while Davis takes on training new officers. Mansfield News Journal
- ➤ Ohio taxpayers can check their federal refund status using the IRS tool if they e-filed, with refunds expected within 21 days after acceptance, while those who mailed returns or filed late may need to use the state portal or call (1-800-282-1780) for help.
