- ➤ Richland Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting Cover Crop Cost Share applications until June 20—farmers and landowners who plant cover crops to reduce soil erosion can receive $12 per acre, with a 175-acre cap unless their land is in the Charles Mill or Pleasant Hill Lakes watersheds.
