GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Richland Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting Cover Crop Cost Share applications until June 20—farmers and landowners who plant cover crops to reduce soil erosion can receive $12 per acre, with a 175-acre cap unless their land is in the Charles Mill or Pleasant Hill Lakes watersheds.  Mansfield News Journal

  • In April, the median home price in Richland County was $227,425, up 11% from March and 4% higher than April last year, and homes were on the market for a median of 38 days compared to 50 nationally+ 92 new listings marked a 34.3% drop from April last year.  Mansfield News Journal

  • Coach JR Davis, a Mansfield Senior grad, led the Tygers to a 4-0 win over Loudonville on Friday night, marking the program’s first double-digit win season in 25 years. The team built a strong family spirit through hard work—raising hopes for more success in the future.  Mansfield News Journal
