- ➤ The annual Ralph Phillips Memorial Golf Tournament moves to Oak Tree Golf Club (in Ontario) on June 18 after renovations at Shelby Crossing. Hosted by Phillips Tube Group Inc. and the Phillips Family Foundation to honor Ralph Phillips, the event supports local youth programs through contests, meals, and prizes. Mansfield News Journal

- ➤ Mansfield’s Juneteenth Parade & Festival is moving to Mansfield Senior High School and will take place on June 13. The free event will feature a parade beginning at 11 a.m., live music, food trucks, vendors and family activities with a focus on health equity — voter education, economic empowerment and educational advancement. - ➤ On May 27, families in our community observed Eid al-Adha with early prayers, festive breakfasts, and community meals as local mosques hosted special services and many enjoyed traditional foods (like Turkish coffee and a pizza dinner) despite rainy weather. Mansfield News Journal
FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ State lottery officials confirmed no one won last Wednesday’s $155 million Powerball jackpot, and the jackpot is now estimated at $172 million for Saturday’s drawing with a cash option of $75.6 million.
