Good morning, Mansfield.
🏛️ Government
Mansfield City Council voted 8-0 Tuesday to rezone 16 industrial park parcels around Airport West and Cairns Road from I-1 to I-2 to help attract higher-paying manufacturing jobs—even though one resident opposed the change.
The council also approved several police-related measures including state and federal grants to improve local public safety and updated municipal services.
🏥 Health
The USDA issued a public health alert after tests found E. coli in Organic Rancher ground beef sold at Whole Foods (including those in Mansfield) in 27 states.
