GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ At a Tuesday meeting, Richland County commissioners voted 3-0 to create a port authority to boost local growth and appointed a board (Renda Payne, Mark Masters, DeLee Powell, David Eichinger, and John Olivieri) that will meet monthly without pay. The county made an upfront investment of $25,000 and expects reimbursement once the port starts making money (it is the 62nd county in Ohio to set one up). Mansfield News Journal
