Mansfield Art Center has a new exhibit called The Collective: Classical Portraiture For A New Era that is open now and will run until Sunday, Aug 10.

At a Tuesday meeting, Richland County commissioners voted 3-0 to create a port authority to boost local growth and appointed a board (Renda Payne, Mark Masters, DeLee Powell, David Eichinger, and John Olivieri) that will meet monthly without pay.

The county made an upfront investment of $25,000 and expects reimbursement once the port starts making money (it is the 62nd county in Ohio to set one up).

Former NASCAR driver Matt Tifft visited the iHeart Radio studio yesterday and shared his vision for the Mansfield Speedway he recently purchased — he is planning to revive racing at the historic venue on Crall Road.
