- ➤ Mansfield city officials began a long-awaited water main repair and replacement project — funded by a 0.25% income tax approved by residents in March 2024. Mansfield News Journal
- ➤ The Ohio BMV warned Mansfield drivers against scam texts that falsely claim unpaid traffic tickets—demanding immediate payment and personal details, and instructed recipients to delete the texts and report them to the proper authorities. Mansfield News Journal
- ➤ State lawmakers in Ohio passed House Bill 3 on June 11 to increase fines for drivers who pass stopped school buses and allow cameras on buses following a fatal crash in August 2023 that killed an 11-year-old in Springfield—if approved by the Senate, the law will allocate $10 million from lottery profits for bus safety upgrades and designate August as School Bus Safety Month.
