- ➤ On June 22 at 6 p.m., a ceremony will be held at the Jericho Wall of Remembrance and Recovery in Mansfield to attach nearly 400 metal stars representing overdose deaths in Richland County since 2016—attendees will place stars during a time of worship and music among artwork by 10 local artists on the memorial wall. - ➤ The Richland County Men's Empowerment Breakfast will be held on June 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center—located at 890 W. - ➤ City council approved tax abatements for Baker’s Collision Repair (15-year, 50% break) and Ohio Valley Manufacturing (12-year, 75% break) as both companies expanded their facilities in Mansfield, honored retired firefighter Phil Dollish for 33 years of service, approved a road resurfacing project on Ohio 13 scheduled to begin in August, and entered contracts for GIS software, mapping services and economic development through the new Mansfield Community Improvement Corporation. The council also accepted small donations for a disc golf course at Middle Park and for a police neighborhood project. Mansfield News Journal
