- ➤ Traffic and parking for Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival—set for July 18-20 at the old Ohio State Reformatory—will remain largely the same as last year, with Olivesburg Road closed from 8 a.m. on July 18 to 4 a.m. on July 21 as police manage crowd flow for about 25,000 daily attendees. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Richland Academy celebrated 25 years of its tap dance group Strut Your Stuff—dancers aged 60 and older entertained audiences with music, dancing, and reunions. The group performed at local events and nursing homes and built a legacy that has brought joy to the community. Mansfield News Journal
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Ohio Department of Natural Resources counted 964 active bald eagle nests in 87 counties during the 2025 census, showing a strong rebound from just four nesting pairs in 1979 (only Meigs County had no confirmed nests).
