James Gunn's Superman movie opened in theaters on July 11 and fans and critics said the film did well, with parts shot in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Mentor.

Ohio lawmakers will consider a bill to name Superman the state's official superhero on April 18 + the proposal shows the movie's cultural impact.
