Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 16th of July.
Good morning, Mansfield.
🏘️ Community
Richland County Children's Services is holding its Family Summer Dayz Celebration at 731 Scholl Road in Mansfield from 3-6 p.m. on July 31.
The event will feature live entertainment, food trucks, games, and resource booths—along with visits from local author Teana Sykes and student athletes—designed to fulfill its executive director's promise to give back.
🏛️ Government
Adult websites in Ohio must check that users are over 18 by having them upload a government-issued ID or other proof, with the rule set to start in late September.
Gov. Mike DeWine signed the budget provision in June (making the state the latest to adopt such a measure) and the Ohio Attorney General will sue companies that do not follow the rule (to protect minors).
