- ➤ Toast's Q1 2025 Restaurant Trends Report showed Ohio ranked among the top five best-tipping states with an average tip of 20.6% at restaurants, which is higher than national averages (with full-service at 21.1% and quick-service at 17.7%). The study also found that the average price of an Ohio omelet rose 5% to $12.60 as egg costs increased due to an avian influenza outbreak. Mansfield News Journal
