ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Spectrum announced it will bring high-speed internet to more than 200 homes and small businesses in rural parts of Richland County. The project is now activating 20% of the addresses and will be completed by the end of 2026 — it will offer service like that in Mansfield and Shelby. Mansfield News Journal
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Realtor.com data shows that the median home price in Richland County reached $175,000 in May—a 6.1% increase from April but 1.7% lower than May last year. Single-family homes sold for a median of $174,950, while prices for condos and townhomes fell to $194,000. Mansfield News Journal
- ➤ Data from Zumper shows that apartment rentals in Mansfield decreased by 5% from last July, with the typical listing falling to $850. One-bedroom apartments dropped to $660 while two-bedrooms remained at $850—making local rents much lower than state and national averages. Mansfield News Journal
