  • OhioHealth unveiled a new wallscape in downtown Mansfield’s Historic Carrousel District that celebrates community moments and regional landmarks—such as the downtown carrousel, Kingwood Gardens, and Renaissance Theatre—and features scenes of patient care and local dining; the mural was installed in mid August at the intersection of North Main and 4th Street.  WMAN

BUSINESS NEWS

  • On Monday, September 1, many stores will run on different hours for Labor Day. Aldi and Sam’s Club will open with shortened hours, Costco will be closed, and Giant Eagle, Walmart, and Kroger will keep regular hours—Target's operating hours are not yet known.  Mansfield News Journal

  • Ohio's wildlife department said fall hunting seasons for squirrel, dove, rail, snipe and gallinule begin Sept.1, early waterfowl hunting starts Sept.6, and deer archery opens Sept.27 statewide—with some areas starting deer archery on Sept.13.  Mansfield News Journal

  • Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit because it may contain undeclared sesame and soy allergens; the affected kits—sold in 25 states including Ohio with TFRS codes and Best If Used By dates through Sept. 4—should be discarded while consumers can obtain refunds at the place of purchase.  NBC4i

  • Ohio high school football in Richland County saw key games on Friday with Lexington vs Shelby drawing strong local interest as teams competed fiercely, and fans followed live scoring updates throughout the night.
