The Hastings Group is hosting a free carrousel night for Mansfield's special needs community at Richland Carrousel Park on Sept.

19 from 5-7 p.m. Attendees will enjoy unlimited rides on the modified carrousel and free refreshments.

The Richland County Park District is marking its 60th anniversary and the 30th anniversary of the Richland B&O Trail with a series of outdoor events from September through Nov.

1. The trail celebration will be held on Oct. 4 starting in Mansfield (9 a.m.) and the park district event is scheduled for Nov. 2 at the Gorman Nature Center.
