- ➤ Richland SWCD will host its free 2026 Conservation Creation Arts and Crafts Workshop series on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. at Longview Center (1495 W. Longview Ave.), featuring a ‘Get Organized!’ tin can craft project along with a recycling program. The workshops are limited to 25 participants with supplies provided. Mansfield News Journal

- ➤ A juvenile bald eagle was injured on Nov. 11 after being hit by a car and was taken to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary for rehabilitation. Mansfield News Journal

- ➤ The 2025 All-Mansfield News Journal Defensive Football Team was announced, featuring 17 All-Ohio players from Richland County who earned honors in Divisions III, IV, VI, and VII, and they will challenge high school quarterbacks with a tough defense today. Mansfield News Journal
