- ➤ News Journal readers in Mansfield raised $17,300 for the Brighten A Christmas campaign — a program started in 1947 that supports thirteen families including 38 children with gift baskets and essential items. - ➤ Ohio State announced its new Regional Campus Commitment to offer free tuition for first-year students from families earning $100,000 or less starting fall 2026. Mansfield students can access over 200 degree options and must submit their FAFSA by Feb. 1 to qualify. Mansfield News Journal
